Great to be invited to present my research at this event which i will be joining this afternoon. It's a meeting of the working party on IDKM (information, Data and Knowledge Management) of the NEA Radioactive Waste Committee. NAGRA is the National Cooperative for the Disposal of Radioactive Waste in Switzerland.

In other words, this means it's a cross-disciplinary group concerned with questions of how to 'communicate' environmental knowledge around nuclear waste isolation sites to future generations.

It means I will have a very different audience than usual for presenting work on the speculative methods and critical perspective of art practice in this context. Really interested to hear about this from this industry perspective, and to see what kind of impact art can have on the huge questions around future imaginaries at stake.

EDIT - talk done, some great discussions around decolonising, attention and the role of 'the interesting' in appealing to imagined future addressees. I look forward to seeing how this develops.
